North Texas Chapter IPC Designers Council presents:

“PCB Cost Matrix”

Did you know that panel utilization was the most important cost driver in PWB price?

What are the major PWB process steps and what are their costs?

What does board complexity do to your price??

Do those exotic processes (HDI, VIP, BC, BR) really cost more?? (Hint—You bet they do)!!!

What materials will meet my requirements without adding too much cost??

When do process yields start to impact my board price??

Why does IPC 6012B Class 3 cost more than Class 2?  Do I really need it??

Come hear our guest speaker provide a tool for comparative cost analysis during design.

Special Guest Speaker:

David Gorden,  Technical Support - DDi

David Gorden has 22 years experience in PCB manufacturing and tooling with DDi. He has worked in numerous capacities as CAM Manager, Front End Manager, Precam Manager, Technical Support, and Sales. David’s current responsibilities include DFM analysis of customer datasets, aiding designers with Controlled impedance solutions during initial design phase, and interfacing with manufacturing to resolve on-hold issues.

He has recently served as the Project Manager for a corporate wide software integration package to target speed and accuracy for data prep and quoting. He is also serving on a Kaizen team tasked with tracking and improving quote response times.
